An Other-Place
A poem for one of my EDSPE 422 prompts:
An Other-Place
There is silence.
But this is not the absence of sound.
There is always music in another room,
in an Other-Place.
The sun sets, and there is darkness.
But the sun has not disappeared.
It has simply gone to bed for us,
and has awakened with others in another city,
in an Other-Place.
There is loneliness.
But that doesn’t mean love has abandoned us.
It’s simply in another city, another room,
in an Other-Place.
There, it waits for us.
