Surprisingly Sunny Friday

Today was a good day. 

Woke up early and thought it wasn't going to be. But after some puppy cuddles, restful tea time and breakfast, I was feeling improved. The sun being out was very helpful, too.

Did some winter prep in the garden, and took in the last of the Halloween decorations. Then a video chat with my girls, Eugenia Stull and Sarah O'Brien . Then a fall bike ride with my honey! 

Maiden voyage for my new Ortlieb pannier, taking a return to the UPS store up north. Then back south around Greenlake to get a tasty lunch at The Retreat. Seeing Seattle out enjoying the weather was a treat. Talked bikes with a kindly older gentleman who rides everywhere. Back home to try to take the dogs for a walk, but the migraine train rolled in and we had to head home early. Fell into bed, slept a couple hours. 

Woke up, played a little Fallout until Chris came down and made us a cheese plate. Watched Apocalypse Z (s'alright). Back to bed soon.

Yay for some sun.
